On 15.05.2023, the official opening of the Digital Technologies Center, built under project No. BG05M2OP001-1.001-0004, "UNITE Center of Excellence," will take place. The Center is located on an area of over 2500 sq.m. It features 14 laboratories with specialized equipment, a lecture hall with 140 seats, a library, and offices for faculty and researchers. The built infrastructure is equipped with the most modern technology and capabilities. Leading IT companies have provided numerous pieces of equipment free of charge, which is a clear testament to the synergy between science and business.
Around 3000 Bulgarian and foreign students, as well as doctoral students, will be trained and specialize annually at the Center. The created infrastructure allows for the execution of scientific and research tasks and projects.
The Digital Technologies Center demonstrates the successful model for building higher education and scientific research through joint and close interaction with industry, in an attractive educational environment.
