"HIGH MANAGEMENT" is the new master's program developed by the Faculty of Economics and approved by the Academic Council of TU-Sofia on 30.09.2020. The training in HIGH MANAGEMENT offers a high level of preparation in the context of increasing competition at the senior management levels of business and the public sector. Due to its multidisciplinary nature, the newly created master's program further builds upon managerial knowledge and skills acquired in practice, applying modern concepts and principles for effective management and decision-making at the senior management level within the organization. Taking into account the rapid development of digitalization in all areas of economic life, the specialty "HIGH MANAGEMENT" also meets these needs for knowledge and skills. The digitalization of business processes provides an additional impetus for the sustainable development of business and its adequate management. The disciplines studied here are also aligned with the challenges of modern information and communication technologies – smart enterprises, smart cities, and the requirements of Industry 4.0. The specialization was developed after numerous consultations and meetings with representatives of business and public administration in Bulgaria and leading specialists from Europe. Some of the lecturers are representatives of employer organizations, the public sector, and industry. "HIGH MANAGEMENT" is fully aligned with students' employment. Therefore, in addition to the part-time paid format, it is planned to start in distance learning as soon as possible. The master's program lasts 1 year and concludes with a thesis defense.
