On December 5, an official award ceremony for the sixth edition of the "University Rating in Bulgaria" - 2016 took place at VIVACOM Art Hall. This is an initiative of the "24 Chasa" newspaper to reward the leaders in the rating system. Its new edition compared 52 professional fields in 51 universities based on 44 criteria. The best professional fields were honored at the ceremony. According to the ranking, the Technical University of Sofia is a leader in 6 out of a total of 9 professional fields represented in it - "Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Automation", "Mechanical Engineering", "Communications and Computer Engineering", "Energy", "General Engineering" and "Transport, Shipping and Aviation".
