
The works will be evaluated by an independent jury of faculty members and industry experts using a 100-point scale.
Authors of works scored at least 80 points have the right to enroll in a major of their choice at the faculty. – Degree of "Bachelor". For students graduating in the next two years, the results are valid for the year of graduation.
The top three ranked participants will receive special awards.
The President of the Republic of Bulgaria, under whose patronage the 70th anniversary of TU-Sofia is held, will participate in the awarding of the competition winners on 03.06.2015, 15:00

Contest procedure:
1. Any participant wishing to enter the competition develops a 3D model of a chosen object using their preferred software.
2. The developed model, accompanied by a description, should be sent to the following address: mtf-k@tu-sofia.bg with the subject line "My 3D World" by 24:00 on 17.05.2015. The file must be submitted in the native format of the software, in STEP format, and in 3D PDF. Specifying the subject line is mandatory (without quotation marks).
3. Models that are not developed by the author are not allowed to participate.
4. The description must include:
4.1. Name and purpose of the object;
4.2. Principle of operation – how the object works and/or how to work with it;
4.3. Advantages – how the proposal is better than other similar ones, if any.
5. Evaluation is carried out according to the following criteria:
5.1. Evaluation of details:
- rational and logical construction of the models
- possibility for convenient and quick changes
- minimum number of components with errors during model regeneration
- use of appropriate orientation and visualization modes for models
5.2. Evaluation of assembled units:
- correct connections between components
- effective use of capabilities for creating details in the context of the assembled unit
5.3. Clear and correct description of the object
5.4. Significance of the project: substantial, valuable, and innovative solutions
5.5. Complexity of models, large assembled units, hierarchy levels, modeled complex shapes

Special awards for the top three places:
First place – a laptop manufactured on a 3D printer, the proposed object, and payment of the tuition fee for the first semester (365 BGN).
Second place– payment of tuition fees for the first two semesters (2x365 BGN).
Third place – payment of the semester fee for the first semester (365 BGN).
The deadline for submitting the developed models is extended until 24:00 on 24.05.2015.
