Over 1200 applicants took the first preliminary entrance exam in mathematics at the Technical University – Sofia

It was held at TU - Sofia, Plovdiv branch and at the Faculty of Engineering Pedagogy - Sliven.

Applicants Yoana Yordanova from Sofia and Alek Meizinev from Gotse Delchev drew Variant 1 of the test. The Rector, Prof. Dr. Georgi Venkov wished the applicants success and noted that their choice to apply to TU - Sofia was the most correct. He emphasized that the university's traditional bachelor's specialties are now close to 70, and the newest ones are related to labor market demand and provide opportunities for successful career realization.

The exam duration was 4 astronomical hours, divided into two modules of 120 minutes each. The first module consisted of 20 multiple-choice questions (from 5 options), with each correct answer worth 1 point, and the second module comprised 10 open-ended questions, each correctly solved question worth 2 points.

With a grade in mathematics, one can apply for all specialties except 'Engineering Design'.
