In a modern world full of dynamics and challenges, highly qualified engineers enter the real business, ready to apply and develop modern technologies with their heads held high. Every day is now different; new models and innovative solutions must be implemented. Today, there are different values; at first glance, they seem confusing, but there is something indisputable. This is the power of knowledge, said corresponding member prof. dr. eng. Georgi Todorov, Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Technologies, in his welcome address.

The human value of continuous learning and development drives today's economy and society. Life is becoming better and more organized, believes prof. Todorov, and graduates are bearers of the new and progressive. Artificial intelligence makes young engineers strong and confident in their profession. But according to him, natural intelligence will increasingly enhance the capacity of artificial intelligence.

The Dean of FIT wished the graduates not to fear difficulties, not to forget their teachers, their faculty, and the Technical University – Sofia. He proudly noted that over 80 years of the faculty's existence, more than 22,000 engineers have graduated, and added that graduates are already part of the intellectual elite, but they must continue studying, building upon their knowledge and skills, because without them, a nation cannot develop. Finally, he wished them not to stop dreaming, because a person is as great as their dreams are.

The graduates were also greeted by the Deputy Rector for Academic Affairs and Accreditation, prof. Milena Lazarova, who said they should be proud to have graduated from FIT, and that successes and a brilliant future await them, thanks to the skills and knowledge they acquired at the Technical University – Sofia. A greeting to his colleagues was delivered by the top graduate of the class, Katerina Kostadinova. After that, the graduates took the Galilean oath.

Gold medals were awarded to graduates Eng. Katerina Kostadinova and Eng. Gergana Pelova, while silver medals were awarded to graduate engineers Deniz Hodzhov, Violeta Georgieva, and Ivan Stanchev.

The ceremony was attended by Dobri Mitev, Chairman of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Board of Trustees of TU – Sofia; Petar Statev, member of the Board of Trustees and director of the Artificial Intelligence Factory at Sofia Tech Park; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Agata Manolova, Dean of FTK; and Eng. Ilka Simidzhieva, part of the regional leadership of the Chamber of Engineers in Investment Design, who announced the Chamber's scholarship recipient, Eng. Ivan Ivanov.

Good luck, graduates!
