
The ceremony was opened by the Rector of the Technical University – Sofia, Prof. Dr. Eng. Ivan Králov, and the Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Prof. Dr. Eng. Valentin Kolev, in the presence of faculty members and staff of the faculty.
"Dear graduates, thank you for choosing the Technical University – Sofia and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. Your profession is prestigious; you will be leading specialists not only here but will also bring glory to Bulgaria all over the world. Do not forget your university. It shaped you as engineers. I thank my colleague lecturers who, with great effort, patience, and dedication, gave you knowledge and skills. The oldest in Bulgaria, the Technical University – Sofia, has trained thousands of engineers and specialists who are the driving force of today's Bulgarian economy. There are important days in life, and today is one of them. The university is proud of you, and from now on, you are the ones who will build your careers, move forward, and never forget the days spent here. Always hold your heads high, because you are the engineering and technical elite of the nation. "I thank your parents for being close to you, for having the patience to raise you, educate you, and guide you to receive the best engineering education in our country," said the Rector of the Technical University – Sofia, Prof. Dr. Eng. Ivan Králov, in his welcome speech.
"Dear graduates, I fully stand behind what the Rector of the Technical University – Sofia said. You are the future force of the electrical energy sector, renewable energy sources, and future technologies in this field, which are currently developing rapidly and are waiting with open arms for capable engineers like you. Stay healthy, follow your dreams, and do not forget the traditions of the Technical University – Sofia, which gave you skills, perspective, and creative drive. Go boldly forward and achieve your goals," stated the Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Prof. Dr. Eng. Valentin Kolev, in his ceremonial address.
The top graduate of the class and gold medalist is Venislav Kalpachki, who graduated with a degree in "Electrical Engineering and Electrical Equipment." He read the Galilean Oath, after which the diplomas were ceremonially awarded to the graduates. Julian Ilchev, who graduated with a degree in "Electrical Engineering," was awarded a silver medal.
The ceremony was attended by deputy deans and lecturers from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, relatives, and friends of the happy graduates. Good luck, dear graduates of the Technical University – Sofia.
