The Minister of Innovation and Growth, Irena Mladenova, opened the national competition "Robotics Days," which took place at the Technical University - Sofia. The event brought together young talents from across the country and established itself as a platform for the expression of Bulgaria's future engineers and innovators.

In her address to the participants, Minister Mladenova emphasized the importance of an interdisciplinary approach in education. According to her, robotics competitions provide students and university students with the opportunity to apply practical knowledge from programming, mechanics, electronics, and mathematics, while simultaneously developing creative thinking and teamwork skills.

During the opening ceremony, she toured the demonstration booths and familiarized herself with some of the participants' projects, ranging from autonomous robots and intelligent systems to projects related to artificial intelligence and automation.
"Among you are the future engineers, entrepreneurs, and leaders who will play a key role in the development of a high value-added economy," the minister stated. She encouraged young people to continue developing their ideas and to seek opportunities to realize their projects in Bulgaria.

The competition aims to stimulate interest in engineering and technological sciences, as well as to create a link between education, business, and future professional opportunities for young people.
Over 200 students and university students participated in this year's edition of "Robotics Days".
