
Technical University - Sofia is pleased to invite its students, faculty, and all interested parties to the International Week dedicated to student mobility programs - Erasmus+ KA171 with countries outside the European Union and CEEPUS.
The official opening will take place on 26.05.2026 (Tuesday) at 11:00 in the Auditorium of Academic Block 7.
Over 50 guests from 10 countries, partners in the Erasmus+ KA171 program with countries outside the EU and the CEEPUS program, will attend the event. The guests are from universities in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, Georgia, Moldova, Brazil, Paraguay, North Macedonia, and Serbia. Two rectors and four deans are among the heads of the delegations.
The event will be opened by the Rector of TU - Sofia, Prof. Dr. Georgi Venkov, and the Deputy Rector, Prof. Dr. Lidia Galbova.
The program of the International Week includes presentations by the guest universities, as well as their work on international exchange programs. Guest lecturers will deliver lectures in areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, circular and green economy, renewable energy sources, digital twins, and others. The meeting includes a student session, where students from Kosovo and Moldova on Erasmus+ mobility at TU-Sofia will share their impressions and experiences. Visits to laboratories, a cultural program, and meetings and discussions on new joint projects are also planned.
The meeting is organized by TU - Sofia with the active participation of the "International Programs and Exchange" Department and the Department of "Technologies and Management of Communication Systems - TMCS" at the Faculty of Telecommunications. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eng. Galya Marinova from the TMCS Department is among the organizers of the meeting.
