
Projects by students from the Technical University of Sofia related to artificial intelligence are helping in medicine for fast and accurate diagnosis of various diseases. For years, teams of specialists have been seeking solutions on how to most accurately measure blood sugar and how to manage the insulin pump to deliver the required amount at the exact moment. At the Faculty of Automation, they are developing a model that will be effective for patients with diabetes in different conditions, with their specific characteristics and various comorbidities. The scientists have also created a device for rapid initial diagnosis of skin cancer.
