The Technical University - Sofia honored the best athletes of 2025 among its alumni. They were awarded at a special ceremony in the presence of colleagues, friends, faculty members, and the university's management.
20 students from various faculties, champions in the gym and on the field in a number of sports, such as swimming, rowing, tennis, athletics, alpine skiing, badminton, handball, kickboxing, and judo, received awards from Alexander Alexandrov, Director of the Department of Physical Education and Sport.
For good sports results, Alexandra Georgieva, Angel and Reneta Dukhovi, Angel Ivanov, Bogomila Marcheva, Georgi Efimov, Nevena Tsvetova, Nikol Ivanova, Petya Boyanova, Ralitsa Ilieva, Simeon Bobekov, Simona Petrova, Stefan Iliev, Teodora Alexandrova, Todor Ivanov, and Yulia Zlatkova were awarded.
The Men's Volleyball Team became the Team of the Year, and the university's representative Majorette Team was selected as the prestigious team for 2025.
The official part ended with a performance by the university's representative Folk Dance Team. The girls and boys from the ensemble captivated the guests with their dance, establishing a tradition at the Technical University for students, faculty, and the entire university community to celebrate student dreams and achievements together.
