In November, 18 young people studying in key nuclear fields for the future development of the plant at the Technical University of Sofia and Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" joined the scholarship program of Kozloduy NPP. The new intake confirms the Company's commitment to support students who, from the moment they choose their field of study, have focused on nuclear energy and plan to pursue a professional career in the sector.
The program provides participants with financial support each semester, with the scholarship amount being 2000 BGN. Scholars have the opportunity to participate in paid summer internships, familiarize themselves with the requirements for working at the country's largest electricity production facility, and become part of a professional environment that encourages continuous development and lifelong learning.
Since the launch of the initiative in 2018, interest in it has been steadily growing, with the autumn intake this year setting a record for the number of applicants. The number of students with active contracts has reached 36, and 23 successful scholarship graduates have already joined the nuclear power plant team.
