At the Technical University of Sofia - Plovdiv Branch, 45 foreign students are enrolled, of whom only three are from neighboring Greece. This was reported to BTA by Miloslava Kondova, chief expert "Public Relations" at the higher education institution.
The largest number of foreign students are from Turkey - 23, of whom 17 have dual Turkish and Bulgarian citizenship, 12 are representatives of Ukraine, three are from Greece, two each from the Republic of North Macedonia and Russia, and one each from Serbia, Nigeria, and Morocco.
A total of 3314 foreign students are enrolled in various higher education institutions in Plovdiv.
