Nearly 60 students from TU Sofia had the opportunity to see the work processes in the two companies up close and gain valuable knowledge.
Nearly 60 students from the Faculty of Telecommunications at the Technical University - Sofia got acquainted with the work processes at the central offices of CETIN and Yettel during an open house day. For almost three hours, engineers from CETIN and the technical directorate of Yettel presented to the students how modern telecommunications work.
The event was opened by the CEO of CETIN Petar Mudrinich and by Spas Velinov, Chief Technology Officer at Yettel. It included a lecture part, where the young people learned more about the processes in the telecom sector and what the work of telecommunications engineers and specialists entails. The second part of the event was demonstrative in nature and allowed the students to see the CETIN Data Center up close, as well as to examine a test drive car used for network tests at various locations across the country. The students also visited the Network Monitoring Center, where a team of engineers explained how they ensure 24/7 monitoring and identify, analyze, and resolve any issues.
Thanks to the initiative, future engineers gained a real understanding of how the telecom sector operates and what development opportunities it offers.

"Open House Day" is a natural continuation of the long-standing partnership between the Faculty of Telecommunications at the Technical University (FTC) and CETIN Bulgaria. The company actively supports the next generation of telecommunications engineers by periodically conducting sessions for students and participating in the FTC graduation ceremonies.
