The Technical University (TU) Sofia successfully conducted the third preliminary entrance examination in mathematics in Burgas, Veliko Tarnovo, Vratsa, Pravets, Sandanski, Smolyan, Targovishte, and Haskovo. For another year, TU-Sofia gave applicants from across the country the opportunity to take the exam close to their hometowns, the press center of the higher education institution reported.
With this exam, the series of preliminary exams, which saw a record number of applicants, comes to an end. In June, the regular entrance examinations will be held at the Technical University in Sofia: "Composition" on June 7, "Drawing" on June 8, foreign language (English, German, French) again on June 8, mathematics on June 15, and English language (for level recognition) on June 17 and 18.
Applications for the specialty "Engineering Design" are submitted through the competitive exams in drawing and composition, and successful completion of the exams in English, German, and French is required for admission to programs with foreign-language instruction.
For the academic year 2024/2025, applicants can choose from over 65 bachelor's programs. The Technical University in Sofia is the leading higher technical institution in the country and the region, offering high-quality education in the most modern and promising fields of engineering and technical sciences. TU-Sofia is part of the European Technological University EUt+, an alliance of nine universities, and will provide its students with the opportunity to study under joint programs at various campuses and receive a European diploma.
