The International Scientific and Applied Conference "The Future of Talents" brings together leading minds in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics to share knowledge, innovations, and ideas for the future of education. The event will take place on April 20 and 21 in the auditorium of the Plovdiv branch of the Technical University.
The scientific forum is organized by the "Club Quantum" Foundation, whose mission is to discover talents in the fields of science and engineering.
The conference will be held in four thematic areas: The Future of Secondary and Higher Education and the Transition Between Them; Digitalization; Alternative Forms of Education; Practical Orientation in Education – From the Textbook to the Experiment.
Lectures will be delivered by teachers from secondary and higher educational institutions in the country, as well as by scientists and researchers. All presented papers will be published in a collection, and posters and thematic presentations will be announced and uploaded to the official website of the event. Within the framework of the conference, the 56th edition of the "Quantum" knowledge competition will also be held, in which teams from several cities will compete in the fields of natural and mathematical sciences.
The special guest of the conference will be Jane Thompson – a futurist and social innovator, founder of the "Web3 Institute" and honorary chairman of the World Council of "Metaverse". She is the author of 40 scientific articles and numerous books on topics related to digitalization and the digital future of the planet. She collaborates with the Blockchain Technology Center at University College London. She was recently honored as a Web 3 Leader '2023 in recognition of her exceptional leadership and influence.
The event is held under the patronage of the Mayor of the "Severen" District, Ventsislava Lyubenova, and in partnership with Trakia Economic Zone and "Prosveta" Publishing House.
