234 candidate students took the first preliminary exam at the Technical University of Sofia, Plovdiv branch. The re-examination started exactly at 9 o'clock in IVth building of the higher education institution at 25 Tsanko Dyustabanov St. Candidates had 4 hours to solve a math test with 30 questions. The first 20 of them were multiple-choice with five possible answers, and the remaining 10 tasks were open-ended. 30 proctors monitored compliance with the rules in thirteen exam rooms. Candidates were not allowed to use mobile phones and calculators. The results will be clear within a few days, and each of those who took the exam can check them on the university website using the application reference number and their personal identification number.
This is the first in a series of preliminary exams at the Technical University of Sofia, Plovdiv branch. Next Saturday /April 6, 2024/ is the re-examination in English, which is taken into account when applying for the specialties "Industrial Engineering" and "Intelligent Systems and Artificial Intelligence".
On April 13, the exams will be held in Varna, Dupnitsa, Kardzhali, Montana, Pleven, Razgrad and Stara Zagora. On April 27, they will take place in Burgas, Veliko Tarnovo, Vratsa, Pravets, Sandanski, Smolyan, Targovishte, and Haskovo.
The grades are valid for applying to all 13 specialties at the Plovdiv higher education institution, as well as for the Technical University of Sofia and the Faculty and College - Sliven. If any of the applicants is not satisfied with their results, they can also take the regular mathematics exam at the university, which will be held on June 15, 2024, or choose a grade from the maturity exam during the grade calculation.
