Ivan Iliev, the representative of the "Human Resources" Directorate of the Executive Agency "General State Labour Inspectorate" (GA GTI), participated in the 12th edition of the employers' exhibition "Internships", organized by the Technical University - Sofia (TU - Sofia).
At the exhibition, students had the opportunity to ask questions related to labor legislation and familiarize themselves with the activities of GA GTI. Brochures developed by the Agency, related to labor rights and conditions for starting work abroad, were presented.
For another year, employers have the opportunity to meet with students of TU - Sofia at the forum to present internship opportunities and advertised job positions.
In 2024, the Labour Inspectorate will continue to hold informational events in schools and universities to familiarize young people with their labor rights and obligations and why it is important to comply with safety rules. The focus of the upcoming lectures is on young people, as they are future participants in the labor market, and a culture of prevention is instilled from an early age - even during their training process.
On this occasion, the General State Labour Inspectorate concluded Cooperation Agreements with the Higher Transport University "Todor Kableshkov", the University of Mining and Geology "St. Ivan Rilski", Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", the University of Forestry, and the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy.
