The Deputy Rector for International Activities and Integration of the Technical University of Sofia, Prof. Lidia Galabova, and the Ambassador of Bulgaria in Ireland, Vanya Andreeva, visited the Centre for Research on Adaptive Nanostructures and Nanodevices in Dublin. This was announced by our Embassy in Ireland on its Facebook page.
The visit was organized with the assistance of Dr. Plamen Stamenov, a Bulgarian scientist living and working in Ireland, with research expertise focused on magnetism and spintronics, the embassy noted.
During the visit, a working meeting was held with the Centre's General Manager and Manager of International Commitments, during which potential opportunities for future research and cooperation were discussed, the diplomatic mission further reported.
Ambassador Andreeva has confirmed the Bulgarian side's desire for more intensive bilateral cooperation in the field of science, research, and innovation and has outlined Bulgaria's potential in a national and regional context, as it becomes clear from the publication.
