The Technical University of Sofia will host an information day for the project "National Center for Mechatronics and Clean Technologies"

On December 15 at 14:00, an information day will be held for the implementation of the project "National Center for Mechatronics and Clean Technologies". The Technical University of Sofia is hosting the forum. It will take place in the Conference Hall of the "Student City" campus (1 Rosario St., bldg. 8) and will be opened by the rector of the university, Prof. Ivan Králov, the organizers announced. Guests will include representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science, the Executive Agency "Education Program", the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and others. The program of the information day, moderated by Prof. Georgi Todorov, includes a documentary film about the "Student City" campus and presentations by the heads of the other two campuses that make up the Center of Excellence for Mechatronics and Clean Technologies. The film about the campus led by Prof. Todorov and the presentations by Corresponding Member Tony Spasov, head of the "Lozenets" campus, and Prof. Plamen Stefanov, head of the "Geo Milev" campus, will present the results of the upgrading of the research structure of each complex, the increase in its research capacity, and its successful use. There will also be presentations by scientists on significant scientific achievements in modeling and creating materials for clean energy, environmental protection, energy storage, and more. The last presentation will be by Tsvetelina Vladimirova - an expert for monitoring and control, on the implementation of the financial plan and the main indicators set in the program for the implementation of the project. The forum will be closed with a visit to the laboratories at the "Student City" campus. The information day will be recorded and broadcast live, and the video material will be available on the YouTube channel of the project "National Center for Mechatronics and Clean Technologies".
