A delegation from the research center IMEC in Belgium visited the Technical University of Sofia

A delegation with representatives from the European and world research and development center IMEC in Belgium visited the Technical University of Sofia, the press center of the higher education institution reported. IMEC Vice President Jo De Boeck and the Chairman for Government Relations Christophe Lux met with the Rector of the Technical University of Sofia, Prof. Dr. Eng. Ivan Králov. They visited the laboratories of the National Center for Mechatronics and Clean Technologies, as well as the laboratory complex in "Sofia Tech Park". The guests spoke with the Acting Minister of Innovations and Growth, Alexander Puliev. They familiarized themselves with the progress in research and educational activities, as well as with business developments in the fields of microelectronics, mechatronics, artificial intelligence, and their applications. As a result of the meetings, an agreement was reached for cooperation in the listed areas, which will be at a technical and expert level.
