

Forestry employees from the South-East State Enterprise – Sliven and the State Forestry Enterprise – Sliven planted 150 black poplar saplings. Foresters from the Directorate of the "Sinite Kamani" Natural Park, as well as members of the NGO "Green Balkans", also joined the initiative. The planting of the young trees was carried out in the protected area "Kamenski Bair", as part of the activities under the project "Restoration of the Peregrine Falcon in Bulgaria". Participants in the project shared that the overall idea of the project is to support the restoration of the population by reducing the impact of the main threats, along with external efforts from other species restoration projects that have already proven their success. Students from the Engineering-Pedagogical Faculty in Sliven, affiliated with the Technical University – Sofia, also enthusiastically participated in planting the saplings.
