

Nearly 700 applicants took the second preliminary mathematics exam at the Technical University (TU) in Sofia, the press center of the higher education institution reported. This is the second of a total of three remote preliminary applicant exams in mathematics. Nearly 1000 people took the first preliminary applicant exam in mathematics at TU-Sofia held on March 19. The exam was conducted using a specialized university platform and the Google Meet application. The duration of the exam was four astronomical hours, divided into two modules of 120 minutes each, with a mandatory 15-minute break between them. The first module consisted of 20 tasks of lower difficulty, with each correctly solved task worth 1 point. The second module consisted of 10 tasks of higher difficulty, with each correctly solved task worth 2 points. The maximum number of points for the test is 40. The results of the mathematics exam on April 2 are already ready, and applicants can view them in their personal applicant information. The next preliminary exams at the Technical University will take place according to schedule. The mathematics test is on April 16, the German language test (for admission to the Faculty of German Engineering Education and Industrial Management) is on April 9. The English language exam for the specialty "Industrial" is also on April 9.
