100 interns from 7 universities are participating in the second television academy of the public broadcaster this autumn. For the second consecutive year, BNT has opened its doors to students joining the "TV Academy" internship programs. 100 interns from 7 universities will begin their practical training at the public broadcaster. Representatives from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", New Bulgarian University, University of National and World Economy, National Sports Academy "Vasil Levski", Technical University - Sofia, Higher School of Telecommunications and Posts, and National Academy of Music "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov" will gain knowledge and skills over the coming months. Their internship will take place in 10 directorates, including "News and Current Affairs Programs", "Marketing and Strategic Development", "Program Content", "TV Production", "Technology and Engineering", "Sports", "Multimedia", "Commercial Activities and Communications", "TVF Studio Ekran", and "Coordination Center". The Television Academy was inaugurated with the official welcome of students and representatives of partner universities at the BNT building, where they were greeted by presenters, journalists, and the management of Bulgarian National Television. "I firmly believe that the path for the development of a public media outlet is to open its doors to all students from majors that can be integrated with us. No matter how well you study, only when you face the realities of television production will you understand if this is truly your calling. We sincerely hope you will stay with us! We believe in the renewal of television and need new people with new ideas and a new perspective on the world, especially at a time when television viewing is changing radically. Your presence is not just an internship, but participation in our common activity - support, assistance, joint work. There will surely be surprises, disappointments, and perhaps some of your expectations may not be met, but after a month you will leave here much more knowledgeable - people who will be able to work anywhere," welcomed the students Emil Koshlukov, General Director of BNT and initiator of the Television Academy.
