Today, 03.07.2021 from 9:00 to 13:00, the regular mathematics test for admission to over 30 bachelor's programs was held at the Technical University - Sofia, Plovdiv Branch and the Faculty of Engineering Pedagogy - Sliven. In the presence of Prof. Dr. Eng. Lyubomir Dimitrov, Deputy Rector for Academic Activities and Accreditation, Prof. Dr. Eng. Georgi Venkov, Deputy Rector for Academic Staff and Coordination, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eng. Georgi Angelov, Director of the "Information and Public Relations" Directorate, and MSc Eng. Silviya Borislavova, Head of the "Academic Department", the candidate students Gabriela Yordanova Georgieva from Sofia and Martin Teodorov Milanov from Stara Zagora drew variant No. 1. Over 400 candidates attended today's mathematics test. Prof. Dr. Eng. Lyubomir Dimitrov congratulated the candidate students on their choice to study at the Technical University - Sofia and wished success to all. This year, TU - Sofia has already held three preliminary mathematics tests, which were attended by 1930 candidate students. The regular exams in "Drawing" and "Composition", with the grades from which applications are made for the "Engineering Design" program, will take place on 04.07.2021 and 05.07.2021 respectively, starting at 9:00 at TU - Sofia. On 05.07.2021 at 9:00, the exams in German, English, and French languages, required for admission to the foreign language faculties, will be held at TU - Sofia and Plovdiv Branch (English only). All tests and exams are conducted in person in compliance with anti-epidemic measures to limit the risk of spreading COVID-19 (coronavirus). The deadline for submitting application documents without taking the exam is until 08.07.2021. The results of the first ranking will be announced by 10.07.2021. Students admitted in the first ranking will enroll in the period from 12.07.2021 to 16.07.2021 by major, every day from 08:30 to 16:30. Ranked candidate students by first choice will be finally enrolled in the respective major with the original diploma and a photocopy, 4 photos, and an ID card within the specified period, after paying the state tuition fee for the winter semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. Ranked students not by first choice will leave the original diploma at the respective faculty and wait to be re-ranked in the second ranking. In it, they retain their ranking or move forward to more desired majors. If they wish, they can be finally enrolled in the major where they were ranked in the first ranking, by submitting a declaration that they wish to remain in the same major and not participate in the second ranking. Unranked candidate students wait for the second ranking without submitting any documents. The Technical University - Sofia, the leading higher technical institution in the country and part of the European Technological University EUt+, expects the new intake of students, offering even more opportunities for modern high-level education and obtaining European diplomas.
