CEZ Bulgaria has been opening up broad opportunities for professional realization for young engineers through its internship program for 13 years now. Through the initiative, which the energy company implements across its entire licensed territory in the country, about 1000 participants have passed so far, of which about 300 have continued their development as part of the company's team. Representatives of the company explained what opportunities for initial professional training CEZ Bulgaria offers to students within the virtual series of the Technical University – Sofia "The Internship – Steps to Success". "The most active period for us is the summer. During this time, we also organize our Internship School. We include various activities for interns, unite them as a team, conduct various trainings and courses," shared Anna Todorova from CEZ Bulgaria. The enthusiasm for career development in the company among young people is great. This is also evidenced by the young team in which Alexander Sirakov works. The department's work is related to the remote reading of electricity meters. "Specialized software is used to read the meters. It is quite interesting and you can learn a lot of things. The only thing required is desire," stated the specialist at CEZ Bulgaria, whose career path in the company went through the internship program and CEZ Academy. The CEZ Bulgaria Academy takes place within the academic year. Its goal is to familiarize participants with various units of CEZ Bulgaria and their functioning within the entire company. In addition to presentations on the activities of various directions of the energy company, training to develop students' skills is also organized within the Academy.
