CEZ awarded two more scholarships to students in the "Become a CEZ Scholar" competition. The winners are fourth-year bachelor's students in the "Electrical Engineering" specialty at the Technical University of Sofia - Presian Todorov and Vanyo Nikolov. The competition was held in two stages - document application and interview with the finalists, strictly adhering to the anti-epidemic measures in the country. "I congratulate the winners and wish them many more successes in their professional growth. Bulgarian energy needs successful and knowledge-hungry specialists who will prepare it for the future. That is why CEZ has made the development of vocational education its cause and has been working for 16 years to discover, support and motivate young talents to find professional realization in Bulgaria," said Karel Kral, regional manager of CEZ for Bulgaria. "Become a CEZ Scholar" for students is part of the "Become a CEZ Scholar" program, which started in 2012. Initially, it was intended for students in the 12th grade of vocational high schools with an electrical engineering profile in Western Bulgaria, but later CEZ began to provide scholarships for successful students, as well as orphans and half-orphans with interests in the field of electrical engineering. In April, the ninth edition of the competition for students was held, which was won by the teams of PGTÉ "Henry Ford" - Sofia, BPG "Ichko Boychev" - Blagoevgrad, PGTÉ "Hr. Botev" - Montana.
