A COVID-19 Vaccination Center was opened on the campus of the Technical University of Sofia - between Academic Building 1, the Rectorate, and Academic Building. This was announced by the press center of the higher education institution, as cited by BTA. All interested parties from the Technical University, as well as citizens, can be vaccinated free of charge, choosing from one of the four vaccines approved by the European Union - Moderna, Pfizer/BioNTech, Oxford/AstraZeneca, and Janssen. The Vaccination Center is open every working day from 9:30 to 14:00, and prior registration is not required. The team administering the vaccines is from the Emergency Medical Aid Center in Sofia. The opening of the COVID-19 Vaccination Center reflects the care of the management of the Technical University of Sofia for the health of its faculty, staff, and students, and at the same time contributes to the national vaccination campaign, the higher education institution noted. Meanwhile, BTA reported that the Regional Health Inspectorate in Pleven will reopen an outdoor vaccination point against coronavirus on the central city square "Vazrazhdane" tomorrow. All interested citizens will be able to be immunized from 10:00 to 16:00. The clinic will have all vaccines approved for use in the country. Immunization will take place upon presentation of an ID document. A medical team will work at the square on Sunday as well. Last weekend, 91 people received their first dose at this point. Most preferred the single-dose vaccine. According to data from the RHI, between 600 and 800 people are vaccinated in Pleven Province on working days.
