How did TUES FEST 2021 go, what were the most interesting projects, and who are the winners? We discuss this in the new episode 66 of the ICTalks podcast with Vladimir Vladkov, editor-in-chief of Computerworld.bg. "The event took place under the motto 48 hours TUES and besides the projects that were presented and competed for these awards, the goal of the organizers was to present the opportunities of the school itself for training - on what topics they work, how they develop students, what knowledge they acquire and how they can develop afterwards, since a large part of the mentors of the students and the projects are former graduates of TUES, some of whom work in large companies - also among the sponsors of the event itself", Vladkov said. "Honestly, I hardly saw a weak project among all 69 projects", he commented. The largest number of projects were registered in the "Robotics" category - 35 projects out of a total of 69. "Some of them already exist as finished products, including Bulgarian companies that develop and sell them, but it is nice that students are engaged and present almost completed solutions", Vladkov added. And more: Which projects did the jury distinguish? Where do TUES graduates find development? Will companies recognize some of the projects and invest in their development?
