On Saturday, April 10, the second remote preliminary candidate admission exam in mathematics for admission to the Technical University – Sofia for the 2021/2022 academic year took place. Of the 706 registered candidates, 661 appeared for the online exam. The exam was conducted using a specialized university platform and the Google Meet application. The exam duration was 4 astronomical hours, divided into two modules of 120 minutes each, with a mandatory 15-minute break between them. The first module consisted of 20 tasks of lower difficulty, with each correctly solved task worth 1 point. The second module consisted of 10 tasks of higher difficulty, with each correctly solved task worth 2 points. The maximum number of points for the test is 40. The results with the points were announced automatically after the completion of the exam, and each candidate can view them in their profile where they submitted their answers. On Saturday, the remote preliminary candidate admission exam in drawing also took place, and on Sunday, the exam in composition. All 90 candidates who declared participation appeared for both exams. The duration of each of these exams was 5 astronomical hours, divided into three modules of 100 minutes each, with two mandatory 15-minute breaks. Applications for the specialty "Engineering Design" are submitted with the grades from these two exams. The next remote preliminary candidate admission exam in mathematics is scheduled for April 24.
