An online discussion forum on the topic "Policies for combating and preventing human trafficking and promoting safe internet use" took place today in Sliven, with students from the "Pedagogy" specialization at the Technical University - Sofia, Faculty and College - Sliven. Vladimir Drumev, Secretary of the Local Commission for Combating Human Trafficking (LCCHT), acquainted the students with current trends in human trafficking, focusing on its links to cybercrime, in the context of new exploitation models, including pornography, the use of live webcams, and remote sexual abuse in real time. The role of the LCCHT - Sliven in preventing and combating human trafficking and protecting victims was presented, as well as experience with different forms of human trafficking, both at the level of individuals and at the level of family, group, and society.
