She is to develop new curricula for new subjects in the field of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, etc. Natural Sciences and Mathematics High School "Vasil Drumev" in Veliko Tarnovo is the first school in the country to which the Minister of Education and Science, Krastimir Valkov, assigned an innovative task, announced the Ministry of Education and Science. It involves the development of new curricula by introducing new subjects in the fields of "Digital Entrepreneurship", "Cybersecurity" and "Artificial Intelligence" for parallel classes in the professional direction "Computer Science". Eighth graders who are mastering the professions "System Programmer" and "Applied Programmer" are to be trained in them. The new curricula will be created by a consortium of teachers from the Technical University-Sofia based on a signed agreement and companies related to technological and digital competencies in the local community, as well as by educators from the Natural Sciences and Mathematics High School "Vasil Drumev" - Veliko Tarnovo. They must be synchronized with the subjects of general and industry-specific professional training in the professions in the direction "Computer Science" and with the subjects of specific professional training in the specialties of the professions "System Programmer" and "Applied Programmer". The school will be able to invite partners from local business to teach mandatory subjects and lead extracurricular activities. Business specialists will participate jointly with teachers in conducting theoretical and practical exams for the profession. The partnership also includes, if additional practical sessions are needed, they are to be held in local companies related to information and communication technologies. Students who have successfully completed training in the new subjects will receive a certificate of completion with the number of class hours per subject for the respective academic year, signed by representatives of the school, TU-Sofia, local business, who conducted the training, and by the director of the Natural Sciences and Mathematics High School "Vasil Drumev" - Veliko Tarnovo.
