The Technical University and CEZ are deepening their cooperation in the preparation of personnel

An agreement was signed to continue the strategic partnership. Technical University - Sofia and CEZ will cooperate in training personnel for the Bulgarian energy sector and in promoting the sector among young people. Through joint efforts, they will support professional education in the field of electrical engineering and work to bridge the gap between the educational system and the needs of real business. At an official ceremony at TU-Sofia, CEZ Regional Manager for Bulgaria Karel Kral and Rector of TU Prof. Dr. Eng. Ivan Králov signed an agreement for strategic partnership. "Supporting professional education is a key element in CEZ's strategy for sustainable development. The company's goal as an employer is to create successful and motivated specialists and to provide them with opportunities for professional and personal development in the field of Bulgarian energy. The Technical University is our main partner in achieving this goal," shared Karel Kral. "I am proud that the Technical University - Sofia has very good traditions in cooperation with business. I personally express my gratitude to you, Mr. Kral, because the agreement will open up even more opportunities for attracting students who will develop their professional competencies in the field of energy. Our task is to encourage students to solve real cases in various projects and in the future, the most important development for them will be case-oriented towards different professions," shared Prof. Králov, who presented the CEZ Regional Manager for Bulgaria with a commemorative gold medal on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of TU - Sofia.
