Company donated a laboratory to the Technical University of Sofia

Scalefocus officially became one of the newest partners of the Technical University of Sofia and donated a laboratory to the higher education institution. On the occasion of the ceremonial opening of the new academic year 2020/2021 and as a first step in future cooperation, the company equipped thirty workstations at the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Informatics with laptops, desks, and chairs. The Executive Director of Scalefocus, Plamen Tsekov, personally attended the opening of the academic year at the faculty to wish the starting freshmen success in one of the most exciting years of their lives. "The friendships and relationships you will create now will be very valuable in your professional life ahead. And when one day you work on innovative initiatives, this will be your main circle of people from whom you will draw ideas and even move forward together," he said. Tsekov also noted that the software industry in Bulgaria is currently at a world-class level and that companies in the country not only stand out significantly on the international stage but also have the best practices. He drew attention to the efforts of companies like Scalefocus to create workshops and lectures with a practical focus, so that young people who already have theoretical knowledge can receive the best training and prove that Bulgaria can do even more. Every year, the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Informatics at TU-Sofia trains highly qualified personnel for the IT industry, providing them with strong fundamental knowledge and skills in the field. Scalefocus once again demonstrated its strong commitment to education and support for young IT talents in Bulgaria. In recent years, the company has conducted numerous educational initiatives of its own and maintains strong relationships and partnerships with high schools and universities in Bulgaria. Recently, Scalefocus officially became one of the large companies supporting the cause for the development of knowledge in our country, by signing a Memorandum of Cooperation and Partnership for realizing the potential of Varna as a City of Knowledge in an initiative organized by the Municipality of Varna.
