Applications are now open for the Annual Doctoral Scholarship competition in the amount of 10,000 BGN.
Candidates must be full-time doctoral students who are not in their final year of study and who work in the field of:
- Technical Sciences
- Natural Sciences
- Medical Sciences
In 2024, the foundation will award the honor to its seventh laureate in the competition, successor to the annual doctoral scholarship of the Karoll Financial Group.
The application deadline is November 30, and the final round before the jury will take place in January.
In the last edition of the competition, two special awards were presented – for innovation and for contribution to science. The recipient of the current scholarship is a doctoral student from the Technical University – Sofia.
From the first scholarship in 2012 to date, 11 talented PhD students in various fields of science have been supported with a total of 90,000 BGN.
