From June 16th to 19th, the INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE AUTOMATICS, ROBOTICS & ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (ICARAI2023) was held at USOB – Sozopol, continuing the 12-year tradition of the International Conference on Automatics. This is the first year that the conference is held under the auspices of IEEE with number #58100.
Authors from various countries, including Bulgaria, USA, Peru, Lebanon, Slovakia, Portugal, Fiji, and India, submitted papers for participation in ICARAI2023. During the conference days, the organizers welcomed over 65 participants and guests. The authors presented their achievements in various fields, including:
- Applications of artificial intelligence;
- Bioelectrical engineering;
- Electric motors and automatics;
- Industrial engineering and automation;
- Information measurement technologies;
- Robotics;
- Systems Engineering for Control Systems;
- Theoretical Electrical Engineering.
Two workshops were part of the conference program. The first was a workshop on "Deep Learning for Medical Image Processing", moderated by Prof. Dr. Petia Georgieva from the University of Aveiro, Portugal, and carried out as part of the activities under the project "Improving Research Capacity and Quality for International Recognition and Sustainability of TU - Sofia". The second workshop was dedicated to theoretical electrical engineering and was moderated by Prof. Dr. Eng. Valeri Mladenov from the Technical University - Sofia, Bulgaria.
