Students of the Technical University - Sofia, who have distinguished themselves with interesting developments, participation in competitions, olympiads, and projects, were presented at the event "Distinguished", which took place on May 16 at the "Tera" residence. The event, which took the form of a cocktail meeting, was organized by the Student Council of TU - Sofia and the "Career and Alumni" center.
At the meeting, in addition to distinguished students, the Rector of TU - Sofia, representatives of the university management, representatives of companies from various business sectors, and successful alumni of the university were present. The guests received special greetings from the Rector of the university and from Ivailo Simeonov, the person who founded the Student Council of TU-Sofia.
At the event, students established contacts and exchanged experience and ideas with their potential employers. Representatives of the following companies were present: Liebherr, IDT, B-eye, Telepoint, Centillion, EGT-Interactive, Podemcran, Romstal Bulgaria, Visteon, BOR, Experian, HP, IBM, Nemetschek, Chipita, Silver Star Motors, Huvepharma, Festo, Sensata, Mtel, Vivacom, Tesy, CEZ, Enterprise group, CERS.
Company Liebherr presented a gift and a financial incentive to each distinguished student. Gifts were also presented by Telepoint and Nemetschek.
The event featured the presentation of Catalog of Outstanding Students of the Technical University of Sofia (prepared under the initiative of the Alumni Council of TU-Sofia), where the Distinguished Alumni were presented with their participation in projects.
In addition to the Catalog, a helmet that monitors brain activity, a jet engine prototype, an aircraft, robots, and other items were also presented.
