
On December 4, 2024, an official demonstration of projects developed by students within the "Student Innovation Hub" competition took place. Working models and innovative solutions in various fields, including intelligent monitoring systems, sustainable development technologies, green energy solutions, and modern applications in automation and transport, were presented in the "Tsvetan Lazarov" Hall at the Technical University – Sofia.


The projects were implemented with the financial support of the Research Sector (RS) at TU-Sofia.

The Rector of TU-Sofia, Prof. Dr. Eng. Ivan Králov, presented certificates to the 17 participating students. He emphasized the role of engineers in our modern technological society and congratulated the participants of the "Student Innovation Hub" on their hard work and achievements, encouraging them to be an example to society with their innovative spirit.


Prof. Lidia Galbova, Vice-Rector for International Activities and Integration, motivated students to continue on the path of entrepreneurship, emphasizing that the university will always support their efforts, including in the creation of their own startups. Assoc. Prof. Elitsa Gieveva, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Applied Activities, highlighted the importance of innovation and creativity in the academic environment.

Over 50 guests, including representatives of the academic community and other students, had the opportunity to get to know the projects up close.

The event was an inspiring example of the achievements of TU-Sofia students and their commitment to science and innovation. This event reinforced the role of the university as a driver of technological progress and development.
