On 4.12.2025, an information day on the "Erasmus+" program dedicated to the Cyprus University of Technology was held in the Conference Hall of the Library and Information Center. .
The Cyprus University of Technology, located in the coastal city of Limassol, is part of the EUt+ alliance and offers numerous opportunities for student mobility for the purposes of "Training" and "Internship". During the event, Aristodimos Lantis presented the university to students as a place to acquire knowledge and skills necessary for their future professional careers, as well as a place for cultural enrichment.
Students from TU - Sofia had the opportunity to meet and speak live with Michalis Michaelides, Efstathios Kalviotis, and Elena Papa, representatives of the clusters in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science at the partner university. They spoke about the training programs, as well as the opportunities to study the Greek language. Students also learned about the conditions for obtaining the EUt+ certificate.
The event passed with a pronounced interest from the students, who asked the Cypriot colleagues questions regarding the opportunities for training in English, the organization and deadlines for applications, as well as the accommodation conditions in Limassol.
Students who had participated in joint mixed intensive programs also attended the meeting and established contacts with participants in the upcoming program “Navigating AI-driven digital worlds for effective 21st century skills, language learning and cultural exchange (DACADU-CY)”.
The event is part of the series of meetings to introduce partners from the European University of Technology.
