On November 29, 2018, and November 30, 2018, "Open Days" will be held at the Technical University – Sofia. The main goal of the event is for prospective students to visit the university's laboratories, get acquainted with the training opportunities, the high technological level of the equipment, and the good prospects for their development. Students from Sofia and the country who are interested in engineering sciences are invited. Laboratories will be open for them in: opto-electronics and optical communications, video communications and technologies, electrical apparatus and relay protection, virtual reality, mechatronics and information technology, machinery manufacturing technology, metal-cutting machines, electron microscopy, chemistry, automated design in electronics and microelectronics, pulse, digital and microprocessor circuit design, and others. Modern systems and technologies in the field of computer science, electronics, telecommunications, machinery manufacturing, transport, and others will be demonstrated.
The Open Days are part of the university's applicant campaign.
