
On April 4, 2016 The Patent Office of the Republic of Bulgaria, in cooperation with the European Union Intellectual Property Office, will hold an Intellectual Property Day at Technical University - Sofia.
The event is the first in a series of information days that the two offices are conducting to promote the intellectual property protection system among the academic community. On this day, experts from the Patent Office will give a brief presentation on the essence, operation, and benefits of using the legal protection system for intellectual property objects, as well as the harms caused by the distribution of counterfeit and pirated goods.
At the same time, a booth will be opened where information about intellectual property objects will be provided, and electronic databases for searching inventions, industrial designs, and trademarks will be demonstrated. Interested parties will also be provided with free materials.
Meeting with faculty and students from Technical University - Sofia will take place on April 4 from 13 to 13:45 in Room 2140 - Block 2 of TU - Sofia, and the booth will be open from 10 hours in the foyer of Block 2.
Entry is free and no prior registration is required.
