A delegation from the German Embassy in Bulgaria, led by Ambassador Irene Maria Plank, visited the Technical University – Sofia.
During the visit, the guests were introduced to the organization and activities of the country's largest higher technical institution, a member of the European Technological University Alliance. The university's unique educational model was also presented, which combines higher and secondary education through its two affiliated specialized schools, as well as the activities of its foreign-language faculties where instruction is conducted in English, French, and German.
As part of the visit, the delegation toured the National Center for Excellence in Mechatronics and Clean Technologies, located on the university campus. The guests were introduced to the modern laboratories where students and researchers work.
