The conference is part of the large-scale "Science Days" forum of the Technical University - Sofia.
This year's edition, under the motto "Mathematics - The Key to Technologies," is held under the sign of the Year of Mathematics at the Technical University - Sofia.
During the week from June 7 to 12, over 200 participants from 15 countries around the world will present their scientific research in parallel sessions of several special working groups:
"Advances in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, and Image Processing"
"Modeling and Artificial Intelligence Methods for Image Diagnosis and Computer Vision"
"Partial Differential Equations and Applications"
"Mathematical Analysis and Applications, Special Functions, and Fractional Calculus"
"Digitalization and Innovations in Pedagogy"
How the conference has changed over the years and what is new - described by the Dean of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Informatics, Prof. Desislava Ivanova:
Over 150 articles have been registered, with half of them involving young researchers. The materials will be published by Springer Nature Switzerland AG in the Lecture Notes series.
