The specialized training of doctoral students is associated with the acquisition, scientific research, and application of the latest achievements of science in the field of weaving, knitting, and nonwoven fabric production, as well as their implementation in textile companies. In accordance with the rapidly developing modern technologies in textile production, research is conducted to solve current issues in the following areas: simulation modeling of processes for the production of textile products, deformation behavior of knitted fabrics under cyclic loads, production of filters for cleaning wastewater contaminated with petroleum products and their subsequent utilization, production of nonwoven fabrics from nanofibers via electrospinning, plasma-assisted technologies, standardization and quality control, environmentally oriented management of textile enterprises, human thermophysiological comfort in indoor environments, etc.
