The specialized training of doctoral students is related to the acquisition, scientific research, and application of the latest achievements of science in the field of design and production of clothing, as well as their implementation in sewing companies. In accordance with the rapidly developing technologies in garment production, research is conducted to solve current problems in the areas of: construction, modeling, and grading of various types of clothing; optimization of dimensions and layouts of flat textile materials intended for cutting; creation of technologies for manufacturing the designed clothing; synchronization of technological operations at workstations in technological lines, quality control, and management.
