The ambitious framework programme of the EU for research and innovation (2021-2027):
- to strengthen the scientific and technological base of the EU and the European Research Area (ERA)
- to stimulate innovation capacity, competitiveness, and job creation in Europe
- to contribute to the realization of citizens' priorities and
- to preserve our socio-economic model and values
The Commission proposes a budget of 100 billion euros for "Horizon Europe".
