The management of modern power systems (EPS) faces a number of challenges due to the integration of renewable energy sources, rapidly changing loads, and market liberalization. This requires the implementation of innovative approaches in automation systems aimed at improving energy efficiency, resilience, and safety. Key to overcoming these challenges is the establishment of networks of intelligent sensor devices and the real-time storage and processing of the large volume of data generated by them.

About the project
The management of modern power systems (PS) faces a number of challenges due to the introduction of renewable energy sources, rapidly changing loads, and market liberalization. This requires the implementation of innovative approaches in automation systems aimed at improving energy efficiency, resilience, and safety. Of key importance for overcoming these challenges is the construction of networks of intelligent sensor devices and the real-time storage and processing of the large amount of data generated by them.
A modern trend in the development of distributed automation systems when working with a large number of sensors and large data arrays is the use of networks and Internet technologies based on Web services (Service Oriented Architectures - SOA) and "cloud technologies".
