As a result of the modernization, the laboratory is equipped with:
- -A gas installation that supplies 2 wall-mounted and 1 stationary boiler with compressed natural gas
- -A cylinder cascade for storing compressed natural gas for the laboratory
- -A gas regulation and metering panel at the inlet of the gas installation
- -An installation for consuming the thermal energy released during boiler operation
- -Modern control and measurement instruments for the parameters of the gas and heating circuits
- -Instruments for measuring pressure, temperature, flow/heat, and an eight-channel data logger
The newly installed measurement and control systems were commissioned in June 2009 and are used for laboratory exercises.
