Erasmus+

Study Abroad - Information for students from TU-Sofia who plan to study abroad. 

Erasmus+ provides students with the opportunity to undertake training mobility for up to 12 months at any level of education and qualification - bachelor's, master's, or doctoral. 

Each participant in a student mobility under the Erasmus+ Programme receives financial support aimed at partially covering the additional expenses incurred by participants during their mobility due to differences in the standard of living. 

TUS announces a selection procedure by faculties at the beginning of each academic year in the March-April period for the winter semester and in the October-November period for the summer semester. 

Students fill out an application form, which is submitted to the Erasmus+ Office of the Directorate of International Activities, Cooperation and Integration at TUS within the announced deadlines. 

The deadlines and conditions for application are published on each university's website. Students are nominated by TUS and, upon confirmation from the host institution, prepare a Learning Agreement for Studies, which lists all the subjects the student will study at the host university.

Internship is included in the study plans of TU-Sofia as part of the bachelor's program to combine theory and skills. This provides an opportunity to apply what has been learned and establish contacts with companies in Bulgaria or abroad. If you choose to conduct it abroad, you can apply for a scholarship under the "Erasmus+" program. The internship must be aligned with the student's field of knowledge and should primarily involve qualified activities. Students receive support in choosing a suitable industry and company. 

The combination of several mobilities abroad ("Erasmus+" internship and "Erasmus+" for training) cannot exceed 12 months for one educational-qualificational degree - bachelor, master, doctoral.
